The Islamic University of Gaza established the e-Learning Center in 2001 to integrate e-learning into its educational process, aligning with the university's strategies to embrace modern technology. Among the center's services is the provision of courses in electronic form through e-learning management systems on the internet. Furthermore, the center acts as a bridge between the university, local community, and the wider world by providing smart room services for video conferencing, facilitating connections with external events. It takes a leading role in filming comprehensive lectures for university courses, simplifying students' access to educational content.

Continuously updating its services, the center drafts proposals to acquire modern technologies, enhancing access to information for students in a simplified, interactive manner.
